1. Introduction

We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Slovenian Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-2). This page explains what data we process when you visit barbarazalaznik.si, on what legal basis, and what rights you have.

2. Controller

3. What data we process

• Site visit: technical data typically processed by the hosting provider (e.g. IP address in logs, access time, browser type) to the extent necessary for security and operation.
• Email enquiries: if you email us, we process your name, email address and message content, provided voluntarily, to prepare a reply or an offer.
• Contact form enquiries: the details you enter in the form (name, email, optional phone, event type and date, and message) reach us by email via the email delivery service Resend. On submission we also record how you arrived at the site (e.g. a Google ad, Google search or directly) and which page you visited first — without cookies and without any identifier.
• Analytics: usage data via Google Analytics 4 (GA4). With your consent Google sets cookies, and we also use the data to measure whether a visit or enquiry came from a Google Ads ad. Without consent Google sets no cookies and receives no identifier — only anonymous signals (e.g. that a page was viewed or a form submitted), from which it estimates ad performance in aggregate. We do not use personalised ads or remarketing.

• Responding to an enquiry — pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Enquiry source (how you arrived at the site) — legitimate interest in knowing which channels bring enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Statistical analytics and ad measurement with cookies — solely on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
• Anonymous cookieless signals — legitimate interest in knowing whether ads bring enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Cookies and Google Analytics 4

We use only essential cookies for basic functioning. By choosing “Accept all” on the banner you additionally enable Google Analytics 4 (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland), which we use for visit statistics and to measure the performance of Google Ads. Without consent GA4 sets no cookies and sends only anonymous signals without any identifier (Google “Consent Mode”). You can change your choice anytime via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, object to processing, and withdraw consent (without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal).
